Vesper LaThary

(she/her) Hello! My name is Vepser LaThary ( rhymes with 'fair' - the 'y' is silent) LIMHP, LPC. I earned my Master's in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Nebraska–Omaha in 2024. For the last few years, I have worked in various community settings including Day Rehabilitation Programming and Inpatient Psychiatric Care, becoming well acquainted with the entire spectrum of mental health and working with clients from every walk of life. My approach is rooted in Narrative Therapy, focusing on the importance of the stories we all tell, and taking control of our own stories. This blends well with ideas from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques, psychodrama, internal family systems, and Analytical Psychology (a la Carl Jung). I try to create an open and affirming space to tell your story by remaining warm and compassionate with every client. I have worked with a wide variety of people in my life, and look forward to continuing to help. I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, heavily influenced by esoteric concepts like tarot, and a bit of a geek. I believe that therapy should be a space where people are free to be raw, unique, and unapologetically authentic.
